COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Cancellation Terms

We understand these are uncertain and stressful times and we are doing our utmost to support you the best way we can as we try and navigate the new normal together.

Option 1: Travel as normal following social distancing and government restrictions. We operate a fully contactless pick up to minimise the risks of spreading COVID-19 and have industry-leading cleaning processes where we fully strip, spray, and deep clean all vehicles between hires. 

Option 2: In the event of Government imposed Covid-19 related travel restrictions that prevent you from fulfilling your booking, you may reschedule or obtain a credit voucher under the terms of our Covid Promise   - CLICK HERE

Option 3: Cancel your booking - our normal cancellation policy will apply  - CLICK HERE

a) If cancelled 31+ days prior then forfeit 20% of gross rental

b) If cancelled 21-30 days prior then forfeit 50% of gross rental

c) If cancelled 8-20 days prior then forfeit 75% of gross rental

d) If cancelled 0- 7 days prior then forfeit 100% of gross rental

Please note this also applies to change the dates on your booking and shortening the number of days. 

What if the event I was going to is now cancelled?

Our normal cancellation policy will apply. However, this is usually covered under your travel insurance if events get cancelled and you, therefore, need to cancel other arrangements too - CLICK HERE

What if I am not from the UK and I have a lockdown in my home country?

Our normal cancellation policy will apply if Spaceships are open for tourism. However, this is usually covered under your travel insurance. - CLICK HERE

My flights were cancelled?

Our normal cancellation policy will apply, due to flight cancellations your travel insurance will be able to provide you with a refund for any cancellation fees associated with your booking with us. 

What are my options if the UK or Ireland or the country I live in goes back into lockdown?

1. Spaceships UK can convert your deposit or full payment into a voucher for the amount paid valid until the end of 2022.

2. In the event of Government imposed travel restrictions, you may be able to claim against your travel insurance if you prefer.

*What are the Terms and Conditions of the voucher

  1. It is the customer's responsibility to cancel their booking - a no show will be regarded as a 100% cancellation fee
  2. The voucher will expire on the 31st of December 2022
  3. Travel must be within the dates of validity on the voucher.
  4. There will be no extensions or refunds on any voucher in any circumstances.
  5. Voucher is non-transferable (can only be used by the current hirer)
  6. You can only redeem the voucher at
  7. The voucher is a monetary value, not a specific item value e.g. The voucher is for £800 not 10 days in a motorhome.
