We want you to plan your Spaceships road trip and holiday with confidence. So we’ve created our Spaceships Covid-19 Promise – meaning you can book with complete confidence and peace of mind, knowing that we’ve got your back, whatever happens.
If COVID-19 stops you from travelling you will have the following options:
If you cannot travel:
You will be eligible for a voucher and you must send us one of the following documents:
- Proof of positive Covid-19 PCR test
- Proof of travel being closed to the UK from your home country
If Spaceships Rentals has to close:
You can either get a voucher or get a full refund.
All vouchers will be valid until the end of 2022.
We have measures in place to safeguard staff and customers. This includes an online check-in, digital handover with vehicle familiarisation video and contactless pick-up & drop-off. As an experienced and well established rental company, Spaceships is adhering to all guidelines provided by official health authorities on COVID-19 as well as continuing to clean our vehicles using industry-grade anti-bacterial cleaning agents. All our linen is cleaned by a professional dry cleaning company who follow the most stringent guidelines.
To minimise the risk of this spreading, we are reducing in-person contact with our suppliers, employees and customers as a precaution. There will be no in-person contact with Spaceships Staff at any branch. Our staff have also been trained on appropriate hygiene practices, including hand cleanliness. We meet people from all over the world in our branches, therefore, implementing preventative measures like these should play a part in stopping the spreading of the virus.
Any pickup and drop off will be done via key boxes (our standard procedure for out of opening hours pickups) - we have had over 1000 hires picked up in this way for our customers and have never had any issues with this - a lot of our customers sometimes prefer this as it means they can pick up whenever they wish to as we'll have the vehicle ready by the time you have stated but you can come later if you wish.
There's always someone at the other end of the phone was there to be an issue as we have a 24/7 phone line (9-5 pm office hours and an emergency number outside those hours).
